A Bookmark Topic is the main category under which your related bookmarks are stored. A Bookmark Topic can be a topic you are researching such as American History, Polar Bears, etc., or a group of sites you visit regularly such as Job Search, Local News, etc. You will name your Topic Group and then assign it to a category from the list provided.
Public Topics
- share research or information on a specific topic
- publish your bookmarks on your blog via an RSS feed
- create a sitemap for your own Website with a link to BookmarkAll
- set up an account for your school with links to study aids, teachers, etc.
Private Topics
- safely store your on-line banking information
- allow selected access to sites related to your business
- keep photo upload sites available only to friends and family
Topic Link
Once you have created a Topic Group, you can begin adding links of the related bookmarks. You will assign key word(s) to identify the bookmark, indicate the URL and further refine your organization by assigning it a category. You will indicate whether this bookmark is public or private, and if you wish, you can provide a brief description of the bookmark.

A RSS Topic is a group of RSS feeds that you have subscribed from the web sites you frequently visit (e.g., news or sports).
Just like your regular bookmark topics, BookmarkAll allows you the ability to set your RSS Topics as either Public or Private. You can create unlimited RSS Topics with unlimited RSS feeds for each topic. But to ensure a faster loading time you may want to consider limiting to less than 10 RSS feeds per topic.
So what exactly is a RSS feed?
- (Really Simple Syndication or RSS) is a way for web sites to share their current news or headlines via a frequently updated xml file. You can think of the RSS feed as a dynamic bookmark because once you are subscribed to the feed, you basically have bookmarked the web site that will display the dynamic links with the best content from the feed provider. For more information please visit our What is a RSS feed Bookmark Topic?
Now where can you find RSS Feed?
- When you visit a web site, look for the RSS or XML icon. This icon, just like the one you see located on our footer, indicates the web sites that provide RSS syndication.
For your convenience, we have also created a sample bookmark topic containing the links from the web sites that provide RSS search. There are a lot more web sites out there so please search for them and don’t forgot to share your exciting findings with our other users!
